Wooden kitchens

A couple of years ago we decided to move our kitchen and redo the whole room up. We already had some wooden units and some favourite furniture and didn't want a clinical environment. I like bohemian interiors and items with character and I am not big on box standard items so these are some of the dream wooden kitchens I found for inspiration.

This is my latest dream...getting a tiny home... I am no minimalist but there is something amazing in creating a house around your needs, as opposed to getting a house built a long time ago for different needs. I don't think I will ever be able to afford my own house plus we don't need a massive house. Anyway these houses can be so creative so take a look at how they might feel ...

House Monday #1

Life has been so hectic recently so apologies for the long delay. Monday night updates when impossible with a sick kid but i have been on pinterst quite a lot and now that our kitchen is done i thought of sharing some of the kitchens that inspired me.

Our main concern was using the same units but in a different space so since out units where from birch i had to look at wooden kitchen. Our second challenge was that not making a kitchen that looks like a sauna which is always the risk if you have wooden floors and units. The kitchens here prove that there are many ways of doing it. Here it goes!

Chinese umbrellas

One of the most beautiful things in the world are Chinese and Japanese umbrellas! Originally made with paper and coated in oil to repel water, they are so delicate and beautiful that can make any room prettier. Here is a few nice ones.
